Mr. Gebreestifanos joined Peterson, Bradford, Burkwitz, Gregorio, Burkwitz, and Su in 2022. Mr. Gebreestifanos defends employers and medical professionals against employment and medical malpractice claims in civil actions.

Mr. Gebreestifanos earned his Law Degree from Alemaya University in Ethiopia at the age of 21. Mr. Gebreestifanos was a prosecutor for 6 years in 3 different counties in the Southern Region of Ethiopia. Mr. Gebreestifanos joined the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission and oversaw Human Rights Monitoring in Prisons, Jails, and Orphanages.

After moving to the U.S., Mr. Gebreestifanos earned his Master’s Degree in Law from the University of California Los Angeles. Mr. Gebreestifanos speaks and practiced law in Three languages.

Mr. Gebreestifanos is licensed to practice law before all courts in the state of California
